Dr. Choudhary’s expertise includes high-performance computing, data intensive computing, scalable data mining, computer architecture, high-performance I/O systems and software, their applications in many domains Furthermore, his interests lie in the design and evaluation of architectures and software systems (from system software such as runtime systems to compilers), high-performance servers, high-performance databases and input-output and software protection and security.
His research is currently supported by DOE, IBM, INTEL, NSF, Sandia,Corp, Searle and Lisa and Benjamin Slivka.

Karan Khanna was the Director at Amazon.com working on the Kindle business. He has previously worked at Microsoft in various roles including as a Product Unit Manager leading a Product unit that developed small business software as well as the Director of Marketing in the Windows and Office divisions. Prior to Microsoft he founded and led a software startup that focused on handwriting software solutions and worked as a Software Development Engineer at Digital Equipment Corp.
He has a MBA from Dartmouth College, an M.S. in Computer Engineering from University of Massachusetts and a B.E from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani. He currently resides in Seattle.
Kumar Ramchandran

Kumar Ramachandran is a serial entrepreneur who has built several successful companies in the media and entertainment space. Kumar founded and led Infoble since 2003 to enhance media distribution, and co-founded ContexTV in 2009 to enable an interactive video canvas. Kumar helped launch two large game franchises for Viacom's Nickelodeon; PetPetPark and Monkeyquest. Prior to Viacom, Kumar managed the streaming infrastructure for Level3 Networks. Kumar was also part of the core diligence team that helped acquire Saavis and ServeCast for Level3. Kumar started his career with GE Medical Systems and helped the three Mayo Clinics single-source its digital imaging infrastructure.
He has an M.S. in Computer Science from Illnois Institute of Technology and a B.E. in Computer Science from University of Mysore. He currently resides in Chicago.
